Fits Standard Regular Mouth Ball and Atlas Glass Mason Canning Jars with a 70mm mouth size (not included) Choose your lid type: 1) PLASTIC (storage) - Plastic lid is BPA free and features an inner foam liner. This liner creates a compressible yet resilient product allowing it to create a good seal. 2) METAL (canning) - Metal lid features a non-removeable plastisol liner for a tight seal. After the plastisol liner is warmed by the product temperature, a vacuum forms creating an airtight, hermetic seal when heated, providing a longer shelf life. Plastisol lined caps are the perfect option for hot-fill processes. The button on the top brings a visual and audible awareness to the freshness of your product, as it "pops" up when the seal is initially broken. All varities are Food-Grade compliant; PLASTIC LIDS are Leak-Resistant; METAL LIDS are Leak-Proof. The lid is NOT COMPATIBLE with jars that close with only a quarter turn of the cap (the ones where the jar threads are broken and not continuous) A continuous thread (CT) container is where both the jar and lid cap are threaded in one continuous bead around the opening (where there is no break in the threads). **Note: a continuous thread cap closes on the jar with a full turn of the cap.**
