PROTECTION- The purpose of these aluminum strips is to create a seal at the edges of the membrane to protect your RV against water damage. Held down by stainless steel screws and either covered in sealant or with the vinyl insert, it adds an extra layer of protection against water penetration. This Roof edge trim has a 3/4" long leg for extra protection. DURABILITY- Made of powder-coated aluminum, the trim molding is also resistant against rust and cracking. Aluminum, while still being flexible enough to round curves, does not rust, which is essential when dealing with water protection. The powder-coated finish is designed to bend and fold without cracking the paint. APPEARANCE- If you attach the trim to your RV, you want it to look like it belongs there. When inserting vinyl into the trim, you add an extra layer of protection and style. Made in USA
