KIT COMPONENTS: (5) tin ceiling tiles. Panel size is 24x24 and covers 20 square feet. TIGHT SEAMS: Nail-Up ceiling tiles contain a 3/8” nail rail that overlaps for tight seams. INSTALLATION: requires a wood substrate such as plywood, furring strips, or joists. HEAT RESISTANCE: ceiling tiles are T1 grade tin plated steel and 0.010 thick, carrying an ASTM E 84-03b approval rating (Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials). One hour fire rating. ARTISAN FINISH: a two-tone powder coat finish from our Artisan line that is hand applied for a premium aesthetic. The finish is baked on to prevent rust.
